"VITA TECHNIQUE" PERSONAL TRAINING & REHABILITATION ENABLING YOU TO REACH YOUR PHYSICAL GOALS
Rose Landry B.C.R.P.A.
Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Fitness Instructor and Certified 3rd Age Instruction. “My teaching techniques help you achieve a well-balanced functioning body.” Rose offers an integrated philosophy of personalized training. Her hybrid approach is very effective. She recruits a variety of familiar exercise systems, including classical-style weight training, functional exercise principles and corrective movement techniques.
This training process produces strength, speed, agility, and balances each tailored to aligning the spine and to strengthening the “core” musculature. The focus of her training is that of core stabilization, to protect the spine while expanding attention outward from mid-line towards the extremities. Her technique also utilizes ball-oriented movements in order to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and longevity. The overall system, she has designed, is targeted to heal, strengthen & re-educate the body.
In sum, her approach results in a client-centered program that provides a fresh enthusiasm for physical performance and an improved understanding of how the body moves. Her gentle effective form of exercise enhances both qualities of life and health. Rose’s approach creates a fundamental strength and confidence upon which clients may build, and enjoy a sense of success in both their personal endeavors and in their sports.
Rose’s “Vita Technique” further focuses on an emergent fitness program for seniors. Her new “Vita Technique” fitness program is both preventative and prescriptive including regular fitness classes, osteoarthritis, heart, stroke, and injury rehabilitation. This innovative, new senior’s program has been developed in response to the changing demographics of our population today. With her awareness of the growing need for senior’s health programs, in today’s world, she offers dedicated services for people over 50.
Rose is certified as a B.C.R.P.A personal trainer. She is also certified as an in-group fitness, third age instructor, is certified as a B.C. women’s “Osteo-fit” instructor and has been a trainer for UBC better bones and balance research.
